Billiards - CG Integration


This project is to create believable computer-generated elements for 3D environments through positioning lights and constructing believable shadows and reflections.

First I placed a grey ball, a chrome ball, and a cube in the position of the object I wanted to make as a reference. The cube helps me find the axes and orientation in the 3D software, the chrome ball allows me to find the location of the lights quickly, and the grey ball helps determine the intensity of the lights. Then I modeled in Maya and created the texture in Substance Painter. Finally, I integrate them in Nuke.
